Dylan visits five new countries (Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovak Republic) and 23 new cities.
In February Dylan performs The Times They Are A-Changin’ (Patrick Warren on piano and Tony Garnier on bass) in the White House during A Celebration of Music From the Civil Rights Movement. Dylan is introduced by President Barack Obama. Two weeks later he receives the National Medal of Art, bud is not attending the ceremony in The White House.
