Five legs with the same band, playing the same songs. The Europe and US summer tour with a main set of 12-15 songs. The kick off in Middle- and South Amerika, Canada Spring and Fall 15 songs. Always a 2 song encore.
Let’s think, ah, some news: in June Dylan plays for the first time ever in Russia (St. Petersburg), Estonia (Tallinn), Lithuania (Vilnius), Croatia (Varazdin) and Andorra (Encamp).
In April Dylan is awarded a special Pulitzer Prize for music because of his “profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power”.
A remarkable release: Tell Tale Signs: The Bootleg Series Vol. 8 Rare And Unreleased 1989-2006. A great collection featuring unreleased material, demos, and live tracks, released in six formats.
In June the first-ever gallery exhibition of paintings by Bob Dylan, titled The Drawn Blank Series, opens at The Halcyon Gallery in London.
The second season of Theme Time Radio continues and ends. The third season starts.
